Needless to say, I spend a lot time playing games, I especially enjoy co-op and problem-solving gameplay.

My go-to game at the moment is Minecraft, where imagination rules!

PC
PC Builder
I am interested not only in the software but also the hardware. I have built a number of PCs, I like the flexibility in personalisation and customisation.

Lego
Lego Builder
Growing up in a family of Lego and Star Wars enthusiast, building Lego has been my hobby from a very young age (my 7500 pieces UCS Millennium Falcon as pictured)

Recently I ventured into model ship building, after I was given a wooden kit at Christmas that challenged both my patience and skills!

Chess
Chess player
I started playing chess at primary school and competed in a number of competitions. Today, I still play regularly.
Every chess game proposes problems you have to solve and I like solving problems!
RMAS
Reinasance Martial Arts Society
Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) is the study and practice of the martial arts of Europe from the 14th - 20th century, using weapons such as longsword, broadsword & targe, and dagger.
A typical first year student at a freshers fair, I was looking to see what I can do to enrich my university experience. After 4 years, several tournaments, plus a small amount of gear, it has been time well spent.

Sailing
Assistant Sailing Instructor
Growing up in a remote part of Scotland, one would presume there is not much to do. On the contrary, at the age of 10 I joined the Sea Cadets and the 6 years I spent there, I had the opportunity to sail around the UK on the TS Royalist a 34 metre training brig and TS John Jerwood a 24 metre power boat. I was also part of the Massed Bands of the Sea Cadets and was fortunate enough to play at the naming ceremony of HMS Prince of Wales, the Trafalgar Parade at Horseguard Parade and the National Band Competition at the Tower of London.

During summer months, I volunteer as an assistant sailing instructor, teaching children and young people to sail.
Music
Trombonist & violinst

When I was about 6, my parents took me to a local brass band concert, where I watched this guy playing, to me, a funny looking instrument, I was mesmerised. I told my dad "I want to play that". Around the same time, I saw an instrument in the music shop window and I said to my mum, "I want to play that". Today I am proficient in both the trombone and violin. Played and still play in many competitions and concerts with Campbeltown Brass and Arbroath & Carnoustie Band.
